Melanie has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry and has held various positions including Underwriting, Risk Management and Business Strategy Analyst.
Although Melanie currently owns her own consulting firm she was a corporate trainer and developer for a large national company for 10 years and prior to that she was a named underwriter with Lloyds of London. Melanie’s true expertise is in commercial and specialty lines however she also teaches the RIBO/Agent licensing course as well as CIP courses across Canada and has a strong understanding of the broker’s role and how to make them successful.
Melanie was awarded the Instructor of the year award through the Insurance Institute of Ontario numerous times and in 2011 was awarded the national Emerging Leader award through the Insurance Institute of Canada.
